Hääd pidupäeva! :) Today, 20th of August is Restoration of Independence Day in Estonia!
The Barn Swallow has been the national bird of Estonia since 23 June 1960; to Estonians, the Barn Swallow represents free blue sky and eternal happiness.

Gorgeous!!! I love the repetition with the second bird!!!
We don’t have too many in Southern California, not like in Europe anyway. I used to love to listen and look at swallows zooming by on summer nights, when we can still see a bit of light at 11 pm (in France). When does it get dark in Estonia, or are you so close to the arctic circle that it really doesn’t get that dark in summer?
Happy Restoration of Independence Day! Beautiful photo.
